As a Security Officer Patrol Badge Verification in SAN JOSE, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to supervisors, site contacts, and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations.
• Monitor the movement of visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel entering and leaving the location, following post orders and reporting suspicious or unauthorized activity.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by observing package handling areas, dock operations, and high-traffic zones, and by reporting hazards, policy concerns, and/or maintenance issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
