Our client, a nationally recognized commercial construction company, is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of a large-scale commercial project.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being at the center of project operations—coordinating schedules, documentation, subcontractors, project communications, and day-to-day project activities while providing light administrative support to the project leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

As the Construction Project Coordinator, you will:

Coordinate daily project activities to ensure timelines, documentation, and communication remain on track. Partner closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and Project Executives throughout the project lifecycle. Track project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, permits, and closeout documents. Assist with purchase orders, invoices, subcontractor documentation, and project reporting. Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, record meeting minutes, and distribute action items. Maintain project schedules, contact lists, organizational charts, and project logs. Support subcontractor onboarding and assist with project compliance documentation. Monitor project files to ensure documentation is accurate, organized, and up to date. Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, clients, and internal departments to facilitate project progress. Assist with office coordination, supply ordering, shipping, travel arrangements, and other administrative functions as needed. Help identify process improvements that increase project efficiency. Qualifications

3+ years of experience supporting commercial construction projects. Experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator, Construction Administrator, Assistant Project Manager, or similar role. Working knowledge of construction documentation such as RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and closeout packages. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams). Experience with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, CMiC, Viewpoint, or similar construction software is a plus.
