Bluewater is a fully converged agency behind a growing list of nationally distributed TV shows, a family of companies, and a diverse portfolio of brands, alongside the charitable and nonprofit initiatives, conferences, and events it supports. Marketing sits at the center of that ecosystem, shaping everything from corporate brand presence to entertainment launches to the day-to-day content that reaches audiences across every platform Bluewater operates on.

The Marketing Assistant provides support to the Director of Marketing & Operations across Bluewater agency marketing, entertainment marketing, and additional internal brand marketing.

This is an entry-level position with room to grow at a large marketing and advertising agency.

What Marketing Covers At Bluewater

Bluewater (the agency) : Bluewater provides a wide range of services to clients, and also has its own brand to maintain, including blogs, email marketing, social media content, podcasts, press releases, and more.

Entertainment Properties : The marketing team creates the branding and assets for Bluewater's growing list of original IPs and manages the websites, social media, ad campaigns, and analytics, working closely with the Business Development, Entertainment, Digital Content, and Post Production departments.

Family of Companies : Each company in the Bluewater family has its own marketing materials and messaging that need to stay consistent and get distributed, just like Bluewater's own.

Internal Brands and Products : Bluewater creates its own brands and products, and the marketing team owns the concept, strategy, and ongoing marketing for these brands.

Marketing Events, Materials, and Conferences : The marketing team handles the strategy and execution behind Bluewater's events and conferences, from branded swag, giveaways, and flyers to decor, on-the-ground coordination, and speaking event content.

Nonprofit and Charitable Initiatives : Bluewater supports charitable partners like the Housewares Charity Foundation, and the marketing team provides the campaign materials, content, and event support that help these initiatives reach and engage their audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage social scheduling, publishing, and content calendars
• Assist with content creation, including captions, copywriting, and assets
• Organize marketing assets and files
• Track marketing projects, and support deliverables across the department
• Provide basic reporting on marketing activity
• Assist the Director with other marketing projects as needed

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Reliable follow-through on recurring, deadline-driven work
• Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities at once
• Experience with marketing softwares (Experience in VistaSocial, MailChimp, and Wix are a plus)
• Clear, professional writing ability
• Basic photo and video editing skills (Experience in Canva, Adobe Premiere, and Opus Clips are a plus)
• Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude

Bonus Qualifications

• Prior marketing, communications, or project coordination experience
• Experience with project management software (ClickUp preferred)
