The Enterprise Services team within Cloud Technology is at the center of enabling world-class technologies, including our own, to help achieve strategic business goals at Client. Our goal is to drive effectiveness & efficiency by optimizing workflows. Your challenge will be to partner with global teams to deliver leading edge enterprise experiences.
In this new role, you will provide senior level technical program management for cross-functional technology initiatives. You will champion and drive operational and strategic excellence amongst the team. You possess a strong program management background, have demonstrated experience leading operational excellence, and have a well-rounded technical background in current technologies and data management. You thrive in ambiguity and multiple contending priorities. You develop and drive high-level central initiatives as well as owning the communication, operations, release management, and overall project management for the team. Maturity, organization, passion for detail, analytical talent, mentoring and leadership are essential to success in this role. What you will do
The ideal candidate is an influential leader, has global business experience, and masters the fundamentals of project management, with an ability to get things done. You will improve the quality and delivery of our cross-functional technology programs, focused on driving operational excellence. You will jump into any situation to quickly understand and assess business needs, identify potential gaps in programs or processes, and turn problem statements into prioritized and well-executed programs that will drive velocity and continued success.
• Clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to the internal team
• Drive and optimize the request intake process, working with stakeholders and multiple scrum teams to prioritize and define an actionable roadmap.
• Build and maintain clear roadmaps to include project, platform, and operational milestones for the organization.
• Document and evaluate existing processes and procedures. Make recommendations and drive process improvement and adoption of best practices.
• Own the collaboration and preparation of work needed for new project requests, including the definition of scope, resource need, and estimates.
• Proactively drive operational projects and associated scope, timeline, resources with minimal supervision
• Identify, analyze, respond, monitor, and control risks
• Resolve issues in a timely manner to keep things moving forward
• Drive creation of portfolio & business health metric dashboards to monitor overall health
• Coordinate all aspects of release management adoption and production issue tracking
• Drive the team communication, documentation and collaboration strategy
• Champion and evangelize best project management and scrum disciplines
• Manage or mentor team members on best practices and successful execution What you will need to succeed
• 7 years of technical leadership and program management experience in large enterprises, preferably in sales enablement
• 4 years of people management and/or direct mentorship
• 3 years of hands on Agile experience
• Proven success driving operational excellence with structured and easily adoptable processes
• Proven success building roadmaps and delivering agile software development methodologies
• Expert knowledge and experience with Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Project
• Exceptional stakeholder management and executive presentation skills
• Proven ability to operate effectively and autonomously in situations of extreme ambiguity, with only high-level direction.
• Work closely with internal and external partners and leverage relationships to get things done through others. Be regarded as a trusted partner by the key stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a strong track record of successful delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary technology projects in a matrixed organizational environment
• A planner who brings order to chaos and determine what needs to get done in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals up and down the org, balanced with the ability to absorb large amounts of information and distill it down to the essentials
• Ability to alternate between strategic planning and ground level execution, comfortable with and excel at both
• Help the team grow and learn, be a change agent. You motivate and influence people without authority or a direct reporting relationship to get the best business outcome
• Excellent negotiation, conflict management and resolution skills. You diplomatically facilitate teams to the successful resolution of issues
• Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and leveraging tools of the trade, such as productivity tools and project management applications Education:
• Bachelors or equivalent a must; MBA or equivalent strongly preferred
• Computer Science, Engineering, Related Technical Field
• Certification a plus: PMP, PgMP, or PfMP
