Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Geriatric Nursing Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Geriatric Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team, with a commitment to teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring resident safety and comfort
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized care plans
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant/ CNA-1
High school diploma or equivalent required
Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant/ CNA-1 Only
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to providing exceptional care and service to our residents
Work Environment:
Full-time position with a 7AM-3PM shift schedule
Work in a state-of-the-art skilled nursing facility with a supportive and collaborative team
