What You’ll Be Doing As an Assistant Property Manager, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of the property under the guidance of the Property Manager. You will assist with leasing, collections, resident services, and maintenance oversight while ensuring the property’s high standards and providing top-notch service to both residents and staff. What You Can Expect From Us We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support both your personal well-being and professional growth: 20% Rent Discount Excellent Base Pay : $22.00 - $24.00/hour Property Staff Shared Renewal Commissions (paid monthly) $300 Morgan Essentials (paid quarterly) Employee Referral Program (Earn up to $750 per referral) Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life/AD&D Insurance, and Long/Short-Term Disability Retirement Plan: 401(k) with Company Match Generous Paid Time Off: Including 10 Holidays per year and sick leave Essential Responsibilities Leasing, Collections, and Resident Services: Address delinquent accounts and initiate the eviction process, filing necessary documents and attending court hearings if required. Assist in following up on delinquencies and ensure timely collection of payments. Handle all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, resident insurance, and lease renewals as needed. Process security deposit refunds and ensure positive resident relations. Promote resident retention programs and address resident concerns promptly. Managerial Support Provide support in the absence of the Property Manager and assist in managerial duties as directed. Attend staff meetings and take minutes when necessary. Assist in collection and processing of all payments and purchase orders. Qualifications What We’ll Expect from You Two to three years of related experience and/or training. Prior experience in property management or managerial experience in a sales/customer service role. Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance may be required for traveling between properties. If you are hired at Morgan Properties, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
