Plumbing Project ManagerMesquite Plumbing is seeking an experienced Plumbing Project Manager to oversee plumbing projects from initial planning through completion. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of commercial and/or residential plumbing systems, project management experience, and the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.What We OfferCompetitive pay based on experience and qualificationsHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and paid holidaysStable, year-round workOpportunities for training, advancement, and professional developmentSupportive team environment focused on safety and qualityKey ResponsibilitiesManage plumbing projects from contract award through final completion and closeoutReview plans, specifications, contracts, and project requirementsDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement plansCoordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, vendors, and clientsReview plumbing drawings and identify potential conflicts, changes, and constructability issuesCoordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, material procurement, and project documentationMonitor project costs, labor, materials, and overall profitabilityConduct project meetings and provide regular progress updatesCoordinate field crews, foremen, subcontractors, and other project personnelEnsure materials and equipment are ordered and delivered according to the project scheduleTrack project progress and resolve scheduling, technical, and operational issuesReview invoices, pay applications, purchase orders, and subcontractor billingAssist with estimating, budgeting, and proposal preparation when requiredEnsure work is performed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, applicable plumbing codes, and safety requirementsManage project closeout, including inspections, punch lists, warranties, as-builts, and turnover documentationMaintain strong customer and contractor relationships throughout the project lifecycleQualifications3+ years of plumbing project management experience preferredStrong understanding of plumbing systems, installation methods, materials, and applicable codesExperience with commercial, residential, industrial, or multifamily plumbing projectsAbility to read and interpret plumbing plans, specifications, and construction documentsStrong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and cost controlExcellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyProficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management softwareValid driver's license and reliable transportationPlumbing license or relevant trade certification is a plusPreferred SkillsExperience with construction management softwareExperience with estimating and takeoff softwareStrong knowledge of OSHA and jobsite safety requirementsFamiliarity with BIM/coordination processesStrong negotiation and subcontractor management skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environmentWorking with Our CompanySince 1951, Mesquite Plumbing Inc. has been a trusted plumbing service provider throughout Mesquite and the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
