No call required. Rare overtime may be needed if patient reactions or treatment complexities occur. No weekend coverage required. Highlights Outpatient infusion center specializing in oncology and hematology patient care True Monday through Friday schedule with no call requirements Primarily non-chemotherapy infusion work including iron infusions, phlebotomy, port flushes, and injections Patient ratio of approximately 1:4-5 in a 29-room infusion center Paid parking in attached garage for convenience 40 hours of orientation provided with Epic charting system Requirements Active California Registered Nurse license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission) CRNI (Certified Registered Nurse Infusion) certification required BLS certification required ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification preferred but not required Minimum 1 year of recent infusion or oncology nursing experience Inpatient or outpatient oncology experience highly preferred Epic charting system experience required Previous travel nursing experience required Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years Why Join Us? The role focuses primarily on non-chemotherapy infusions including iron infusions, Reclast/Zometa infusions, port flushes, phlebotomy, and various injections (Zoladex, Lupron, Faslodex), with occasional hydration treatments and rare genetic testing procedures. You'll work with an adult patient population in a supportive interdisciplinary environment with pharmacy support. This 26-week assignment offers both local and travel candidates the opportunity to gain valuable outpatient oncology experience while maintaining excellent work-life balance.
