Job Opportunity: OB/GYN Hospitalist

We are excited to announce an opening for a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our expanding Women's Health Service Line. This role will be primarily based at Mercy Hospital in Rockville Centre, NY, located in Nassau County. Our organization is a comprehensive healthcare system dedicated to serving the Long Island community in New York.

Our system consists of six hospitals, three skilled nursing facilities, a regional home care and hospice service, and a community-based agency for individuals with developmental disabilities. With over 17,000 employees and an operating budget exceeding $3 billion, we cater to more than three million residents across Suffolk, Nassau, and Eastern Queens Counties.

In recent years, we have made significant investments in our Women's Health Service Line, aiming to create an integrated program that encompasses various specialties, including OB/GYN, gynecologic oncology, maternal-fetal medicine, urogynecology, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Our OB/GYNs will collectively support approximately 4,700 deliveries annually, with around 1,000 occurring at Mercy Hospital.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with a dedicated team of maternity specialists, including board-certified physicians, nurses, and experts in high-risk pregnancies. Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid NYS MD or DO license.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Strong clinical expertise in evaluation and management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels to foster a culture of patient safety and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is between $340,000 and $425,000. This range is a good faith estimate and actual compensation will depend on various factors, including education, training, skills, licensure, certification, competencies, and relevant experience. Please note that this salary range does not include bonuses, incentive pay, or other forms of compensation, nor does it account for the value of benefits.
