We live that out through our values: we get stuff done, we work as a team, we do the right thing, we have fun — and most importantly, we LUV what we do.Location: 3448 Broadway St. American Canyon, CA 94503Benefits & PerksBonus Eligible — earn extra for driving resultsOvertime Available — more opportunity to grow your paycheck401(k) Match — we invest in your futureHealth Benefits/HSAVision & Dental CoverageLife InsurancePaid VacationPaid Sick TimeEmployee Discount ProgramEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)General Summary of Duties:Our Assistant General Manager will manage the day-to-day operations of the carwash, manage all employees, and facilitate breaks/shifts for the team.Reports to: General ManagerFLSA Status: Non-ExemptPhysical Demands:Occasional prolonged periods of walking/standing.Physical ability to move equipment and tools as needed.Must be able to lift min 30 pounds.Work in extreme weather.Work in a wet environment and wear PPE correctly throughout the day.Essential Functions:Direct cars into the wash tunnels.Carry out visual inspections of vehicles to confirm their condition before sending them into the tunnel.Perform cleaning of the facility and ensure everything is organized and kept in the appropriate place.Monitor inventory and supplies and assist with orders.Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.Properly address all customer escalations in a calm and collected manner.Perform other related duties as required and assigned.Assist with recruiting, developing, and motivating teams to deliver the company's mission.Follow standard procedures for cash management to include daily reconciliations, audits, and deposits.Maintenance Lead Responsibilities:Must complete all online trainings, pass the online test, and complete in-person training per merit.Must remain up-to-date on applicable trainings pertaining to their tier and associated trainings as new trainings are launched or updated.Responsible for the cleaning and organization of the backroom of the car wash, including but not limited to tools, work bench, spare parts, chemical organization, and overall cleaning.Responsible for all the equipment Preventive Maintenance, including but not limited to greasing bearings, oil changes, belt replacements, filter cleanings, and other items on the PM Checklist.Must ensure proper tension and smooth operation of the conveyor by conducting proper conveyor checks.Responsible for keeping checklists and work orders on MaintainX up-to-date with accurate information pertaining to any PM or repair work orders.Responsible for completing minor repairs such as bearings, shocks, spindles, oil changes, solenoids and valvesResponsible for some of the larger repairs with or without a Maintenance Technician if needed, such as wrap replacement, assisting with blowers, Top Brush Repair, and other maintenance items.Must be willing to work flexible hours before a site opens or after a site closes.Job holder must demonstrate current competencies applicable to the job position. Every employee is required to remain updated on company policies and affairs through appropriate sources, such as the internal employee website.RequirementsEducation:HS Diploma or GED equivalentExperience:A minimum of year (1) year of car wash experience is preferred.Requirements:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Passionate about creating genuine connections with team members and providing excellent customer service.Moderate proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, is required.
