CNC Swiss Lead

Reports To: Production Supervisor
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

SUMMARY: The Swiss Lead is responsible for overseeing all inspection, set up, preventative maintenance, upkeep, and proper usage of the Star or Citizen Swiss machine.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Sets up and operates a Star or Citizen Swiss machine as needed
• Interchanges cutting tools within the Star or Citizen Swiss machine as needed
• Monitors and maintains fluid levels within Star or Citizen Swiss machine as needed
• Cleans Star or Citizen Swiss machine before and after use as needed
• Oversees the cleanliness and safety of Swiss Operators workstations
• Ensures Swiss Operators load bar feeder continuously over the course of their shift
• Ensures Swiss Operators produces parts to Dimensional Control Plan (DCP)
• Performs preventative maintenance and reports higher level machine issues to supervisor as needed
• Follows all necessary work instructions and procedures as laid out by company's QMS (ISO)
• Reports quality updates to supervisor daily
• Follows all established work instructions and standard operating procedures, including the "setup procedure list"
• Follows all internal, OSHA, and outside agency safety regulations
• Monitors the upcoming parts schedule and anticipates tooling for upcoming job
• Monitors production of task in/task out times and daily production activity
• Assists with supervision and discipline of other Swiss Operators as needed
• Monitors all setups to ensure compliance and accuracy in relation to the setup procedures
• Performs all other duties as assigned

• Swiss Operator

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education and/or Experience - 3-5 years manufacturing experience with CNC control experience required, Star or Citizen Swiss experience preferred, IQMS preferred but not required
• Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common internal data reports,
