Founded by serial AI entrepreneurs, former Microsoft Corporate Vice President of Conversational AI Dan Roth, and UC Berkeley AI Professor Dan Klein, and built by a team of world-class PhD researchers and engineers, Scaled Cognition advances the science of agentic AI to deliver safe, policy-aligned automation that enterprises can trust.As a Software Engineer, Product at Scaled Cognition you will:Develop and build intuitive user experiences and SDKs that are powered by our novel, intelligent models.Develop tools and infrastructure for simulation, evaluation, and deployment of next-generation AI systems.Work closely with research and infrastructure teams to translate cutting-edge model capabilities into delightful, reliable products.Prototype fast, learn continuously, and ship ambitious ideas that redefine what's possible in intelligent software.You might be the right person for the job if you:Are passionate about building high quality products that solve real user needs.Are excited about building agentic systems and exploring what's possible at the frontier of AI capabilities.Thrive in ambiguous environments where you have the autonomy to define the path forward.Enjoy collaborating across disciplines — from product to AI research to infrastructure — to make something new work in the real world.Key Qualifications:3+ years of software engineering experience.Strong proficiency with Python and TypeScript.Experience deploying secure, highly available customer-facing applications.Experience deploying secure, scalable, customer-facing applications in production.Familiarity with cloud architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) and modern dev tooling.(Bonus) Experience with LLM APIs, SDK design, and interactive systems involving intelligent agents.
