Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

This role operates a variety of forklifts and powered industrial vehicles to safely move, load, unload, and organize products throughout a busy warehouse. You will support shipping, receiving, and inventory operations while maintaining accurate records and contributing to an efficient and well-organized facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate different forklifts to transport products throughout the facility.
• Cross-train to learn and operate sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and clamp trucks.
• Assist in order picking, inventory management, loading, and shipping and receiving tasks.
• Utilize RF scanners for efficient product handling.

Essential Skills

• Experience with forklift and material handling operations.
• Proficiency in operating stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker, and clamp forklifts.
• Order picking and inventory management skills.
• RF scanner experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• At least 6 months of forklift operating experience.
• Valid driver's license required as it is a safety-sensitive position.
• Willingness to cross-train and learn various types of forklifts.
• Comfortable working at heights.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Peters, MO.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
