Non-Negotiables

• You must hold an active U.S. Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance (or higher) with an investigation completed within the last five years
• A bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related technical field is mandatory
• You need a minimum of eight years of systems engineering experience on complex defense, aerospace, or mission-critical programs
• Deep expertise in systems integration, architecture development, and technical problem solving is required
• You must have demonstrable experience leading technical efforts within multidisciplinary engineering organizations
• U.S. Citizenship is required per government contract, and you must be able to obtain necessary Special Access authorizations
• The role requires occasional travel and the ability to support extended work schedules when program demands dictate

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture development, integration, verification, and sustainment of mission-critical defense platforms
• Design and maintain system architectures for advanced training and simulation systems, ensuring they meet rigorous performance and security standards
• Spearhead modernization initiatives that integrate legacy technologies with emerging solutions, extending the life and capability of key defense systems
• Collaborate cross-functionally with software, hardware, and test teams to resolve complex integration issues and deliver fully functional systems on schedule
• Conduct trade studies, lead technical reviews, and drive engineering decisions that align with program objectives and customer requirements
• Mentor junior engineers, share best practices, and promote a culture of technical excellence across the organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mission systems integration on large defense programs is highly desirable and will accelerate your impact
• Familiarity with Electronic Warfare (EW), radar systems, or EO/IR sensor technologies differentiates you from other candidates
• Knowledge of C4ISR systems, avionics integration, or secure communications will allow you to contribute immediately on sensitive projects
• Hands-on experience with signal processing (DSP), Ethernet/TCP/IP networking, or military databus standards such as MIL-STD-1553 or ARINC 429 is a strong plus
• Exposure to systems modeling, interface management, and Agile or traditional systems engineering methodologies helps you thrive in our fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to troubleshoot multi-domain issues involving hardware, software, and networking, and to support customer demonstrations, is highly valued
