Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry

Role Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities Assess: Evaluate physical, social, psychological, cognitive, and communicative status by gathering information from patients, families, and team members. Plan: Develop individualized care plans with input from patients, families, and healthcare teams, including education and follow-up support. Implement: Deliver or delegate care, coordinate with team members, prioritize tasks, manage resources efficiently, and ensure adherence to care guidelines. Evaluate: Monitor patient responses, outcomes, and satisfaction, adjusting care plans as necessary. Professionalism: Uphold legal and ethical standards, maintain accurate documentation, and promote professional development. Qualifications & Skills Current RN license in the practice state, with valid compact license transfer if applicable. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution. Skills in patient care delivery, interdisciplinary teamwork, documentation, communication, critical thinking, and care coordination. Physical & Other Requirements Ability to read, communicate effectively, manipulate equipment, lift and transfer patients, and navigate busy environments.
