Job Description
What You'll Do
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Install, inspect, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment used in extrusion, thermoforming, and automatic padding processes
Diagnose and fix issues with PLCs, HMIs, AC and DC motor drives, process heating systems, feedback control circuits, and more
Conduct preventive maintenance and basic calibration on production equipment
Technical Knowledge & Operations
Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and manuals
Work with NEC codes where applicable
Operate forklifts, yard equipment, and shop tools safely and effectively
Safety & Compliance
Participate in safety inspections, observations, and JSA risk assessments
Conduct food safety and defense inspections and report deficiencies
What We're Looking For
Required
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in an industrial electrical/mechanical setting
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, and motor control systems
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficient with electrical multi-meters, megger insulation testers, and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
- Completion of a trade school program or Associate's degree in a related field
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) applications in a facility environment
- Experience with thermoforming, laminating, or extrusion equipment is a plus
