Medical Assistant - Jacksonville Beach, FL

$20-$23/hour | Full-Time | Monday-Friday | No Nights or Weekends

Nextaff is urgently hiring an experienced Medical Assistant for a full-time temporary assignment with a busy specialty medical practice in Jacksonville Beach. This is an immediate need with an ASAP start. This is a great opportunity for a Medical Assistant who enjoys fast-paced patient care, provider support, and hands-on clinical work - with the potential to earn a permanent position and excellent long-term benefits.

Pay & Schedule

$20-$23 per hour DOE
Full-time schedule
Monday-Friday
No nights or weekends
Weekly pay
Possible permanent hire opportunity

What You'll Do

Greet, room, and prepare patients for visits
Assist providers during exams and procedures
Medical scribing and EMR documentation
Update patient medical records
Take medical histories and vital signs
Collect and label lab specimens
Assist with prescriptions, prior authorizations, and patient follow-up
Maintain HIPAA and OSHA compliance
Support a positive patient experience

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
Scribing experience strongly preferred
Dermatology or specialty practice experience preferred
Medical Assistant certification preferred, not required
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Professional appearance and team-oriented attitude
