Employment Type: Non-Exempt, Full-Time Reports To: Restaurant Manager, Kitchen Manager, Bar Manager Job Description The primary responsibility of a Busser is to set tables with clean linens and silverware and remove soiled dishes, glassware, and silverware from the tables. Additional responsibilities include proper maintenance and cleaning of side stations, floors and furniture, promptly cleaning and re-setting tables for use by the next guests, and stocking and maintaining side stations for all team members in the restaurant. Maintain tables throughout service, clearing dishes between courses, and emptying glassware as necessary. Proactively reset tables as quickly as possible after guests leave the restaurant. Proactively restock items. Multitask to eliminate work quickly by practicing good working habits including cleaning up as you go and preparing for busy hours during slow hours. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills / Experience At least 21 years or older. High school diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and accident prevention principles. Must be able to multi-task well and work well under pressure. Nevada Health Card required. Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card may be required depending on assigned location. Physical Requirements Must be able to stand and walk swiftly for extended periods of time. Must be able to bend to obtain items near the floor and carry service trays overhead.
