Position Overview

Firepower Rehab & Therapy Clinic is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to deliver onsite care in the comfort of our patients' homes throughout Los Angeles, California. Work Environment

This position is onsite, requiring you to deliver services directly in patients' homes. You will utilize your clinical expertise to assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions while collaborating closely with families and caregivers. The home care setting allows for a more personalized experience and is designed to create a supportive environment conducive to rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities by using a variety of evaluation instruments and tests, including muscle strength, range of motion, and functional mobility evaluations.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that take into consideration the patient's medical history, rehabilitation goals, and input from referring physicians.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities like ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat to facilitate recovery.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment progress, self-care techniques, and home-based activities to promote independence and continued improvement.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to review patient cases and optimize treatment strategies.
• Delegate tasks to support staff and ensure adherence to treatment protocols, while supervising the implementation of care provided by non-professional personnel.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including but not limited to joint replacements, fractures, and sports injuries. Your role will also extend to those with neurological conditions, chronic pain, and musculoskeletal disorders. By providing tailored rehabilitation strategies, you will empower patients to regain function and achieve their health goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current licensure in the State of California as a Physical Therapist.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in orthopedic physical rehabilitation.
• A clean professional record, indicating no instances of board action or disciplinary measures taken against your license.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques tailored to individualized patient care.
• Experience in developing and conducting personalized exercise regimens based on current best practices in rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
