Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite in a home care setting, where you will provide one-on-one therapy directly in patients' residences. Your working schedule will typically be from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, facilitating a consistent routine that nurtures patient relationships and promotes continuity of care. As part of a close-knit team, you will collaborate with other health professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment that addresses both physical and psychological aspects of recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aimed at maximizing recovery based on individual patient goals.
• Utilize hands-on therapy techniques, such as manual therapy, to address musculoskeletal issues in an outpatient environment.
• Introduce and educate patients on non-surgical, evidence-based treatment modalities that promote long-term recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress in compliance with regulatory standards, utilizing EMR systems for accurate record-keeping (WebPT preferred).
• Work with patients to design and facilitate personalized wellness programs to enhance health and prevent future injuries.
• Maintain open lines of communication with patients and caregivers to enhance the continuity of care and support patient engagement in their rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational institution.
• An active California Physical Therapist license in good standing is essential for this position.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience with a demonstrated focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques as well as familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, with a preference for WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a home care setting is an advantage.
• Background in orthopedic or sports rehabilitation will be beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer contributions, and 2 to 3 weeks of paid time off per year.
