Our team, composed of experienced professionals including two physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), works collaboratively to ensure every patient receives exceptional care.

Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our Los Angeles rehabilitation center, where you will work in a lively environment that encourages both professional collaboration and individual responsibility. Our clinic operates in a full-time capacity, with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a well-structured work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand the goals and needs of each patient to develop effective treatment plans tailored to their specific conditions.
• Maintain an optimal patient load of one patient per hour to ensure focused attention and quality care during each session.
• Implement evidence-based physical therapy techniques to assist patients in improving mobility and reducing pain, prioritizing non-surgical options where possible.
• Develop and execute individualized care plans utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities and exercises.
• Create customized fitness and wellness programs that address specific patient requirements and lifestyle needs.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their therapy journey to enhance their functional capabilities.
• Document patient interactions and therapy sessions accurately to maintain comprehensive care records and facilitate effective communication among staff.
• Regularly evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be a diverse patient base, mainly individuals covered by private insurance, requiring rehabilitation for various orthopedic conditions. You will work with active patients aiming to recover from sports injuries, post-operative care, and chronic musculoskeletal issues. Your role will significantly impact their recovery processes and overall health improvement, fostering long-term wellness and functionality.

Qualifications

• Hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Must be licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist in Los Angeles, California, with no history of board actions or disciplinary measures against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop effective, hands-on exercise routines.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient tracking processes.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient clinic is highly desirable.
• Conversant with evidence-based practices and contemporary rehabilitation methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and engage with patients, families, and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 90,000 – 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
