Registered Nurse Medical Surgical/Tele

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical/Tele position. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in a large facility setting, with specific requirements for flu vaccination and certification compliance.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer patient care in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
  
  
• 
  Perform EKG assessments and pass the required exam on the first day of orientation.
  
  
• 
  Float between units as needed, maintaining flexibility to cover staffing needs.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and travel requirements.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Complete required modules and documentation during orientation and throughout shifts.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid California RN license in hand at the time of submission.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience in a large hospital setting.
  
  
• 
  Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Experience with EKG interpretation and telemetry nursing preferred.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work night shifts (3x12 hours) and holiday coverage.
  
  
• 
  Strong clinical and communication skills, with the flexibility to float between units.
