Opportunity Details Inpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner / PMHNP Location: Austin, TX Austin Oaks Hospital offers a continuum of psychiatric services for adolescents, ages 12-17, and for adults, age 18 and older and an exclusive women's wellness program. Our Services Inpatient programs for adolescents ages 12+ and adults. Specialized services for Women's Wellness and Addiction/Detox Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) & Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) Position Details Caseload That Works for You: Manageable average of 15 patients per day, allowing for meaningful patient interactions and work-life balance. Setting and Patients: Inpatient Adult / Women's Specialty or Adolescents; Optional PHP/IOP work available in the afternoons. Consistent Schedule: Monday-Friday daytime hours with minimal weekends and on-call requirements. Arrangement: Employed W-2 or 1099 available. Collaborative Culture: Be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to innovative and compassionate mental health care. Requirements Education: NP degree from an accredited and recognized program required. Certifications: Post graduate PMHNP certificate required. Licensure: Current Texas APRN license in good standing. Credentialing: Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating providers. Required Experience: 3+ years prior PMHNP work experience (clinical rotations and preceptor hours not included).
