About the team and role Global Gaming Team GBG’s Global Gaming team partners with leading operators, platforms, and technology providers across online gaming and sports betting worldwide. We help customers navigate complex regulatory environments, mitigate fraud, verify identity with confidence, and deliver secure, trusted player experiences at scale. This is a high‑growth team operating in a fast‑moving, highly regulated industry where innovation, trust, and compliance are critical to success. The Role - Sales Manager, Gaming As Sales Manager for GBG’s Global Gaming Sales team, you’ll serve as a player‑coach, balancing direct revenue ownership with team leadership and development. You will lead and mentor a team of Sales Executives while managing your own portfolio of high‑value gaming customers and prospects. In this role, you’ll drive new business, expand existing accounts, and position GBG’s identity, fraud, and location solutions as strategic advantages for gaming operators navigating regulatory complexity. You’ll collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners to deliver meaningful customer outcomes and sustain long‑term growth in a competitive market. What you will do Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Executives to consistently outperform individual and team revenue targets. Own a personal sales pipeline, driving new business and expanding strategic gaming accounts. Actively support high‑impact opportunities through customer meetings, proposals, negotiations, and complex deal execution. Build and sustain a high‑performance sales culture through hands‑on coaching, strong forecasting discipline, and effective CRM usage. Analyze market trends, regulatory developments, and customer needs across the global gaming landscape to inform sales strategy and prioritization. Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Pre‑Sales, and Customer Success to deliver cohesive, high‑quality go‑to‑market execution. Provide guidance on deal structuring, pricing strategy, and resource allocation to maximize commercial outcomes. Lead regular pipeline reviews, forecast updates, and sales performance evaluations to ensure visibility and accountability. Drive cross‑functional alignment to enhance customer experience and unlock incremental growth opportunities. Represent GBG at industry events, conferences, and strategic partner engagements to strengthen market presence and relationships. Share customer and market insights that contribute to product innovation and commercial strategy. Skills we are looking for Proven experience leading or mentoring sales teams in a SaaS, identity, fraud, regtech, payments, or gaming‑related environment. Demonstrated success as an individual contributor in enterprise or strategic sales. Strong understanding of the online gaming and sports betting space, including regulatory and operational dynamics. Ability to balance leadership responsibilities with personal quota ownership. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience managing multi‑product or platform‑based enterprise sales cycles. Strong commercial acumen with a data‑driven approach to coaching and decision‑making. Ability to build trust, motivate teams, and create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Comfortable working cross‑functionally in a global, matrixed environment. Strategic thinker with a proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset.
