Service Advisor – Battlefield Automotive Organization The Battlefield Automotive Organization is looking for an experienced Service Advisor who wants to build a long-term career with an established, family-owned automotive organization. As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary connection between our customers and technicians. You'll listen to customer concerns, recommend appropriate maintenance and repairs, communicate throughout the repair process, and make sure every customer receives the level of service and communication they deserve. Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay Health insurance Paid time off and sick leave 401(k) Stable, established family-owned automotive organization Ongoing manufacturer training and development Opportunity for long-term growth Supportive, team-oriented work environment Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and professionally Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle symptoms Obtain necessary customer and vehicle information Schedule service appointments and manage repair orders Recommend appropriate maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, condition, and service history Prepare and clearly explain estimates for parts and labor Communicate effectively with technicians regarding diagnosis, repairs, and additional recommendations Monitor vehicle progress throughout the day Keep customers informed throughout the repair process Obtain authorization for recommended repairs and services Review completed repair orders and invoices for accuracy Clearly explain completed repairs, maintenance warranties, and charges Follow up with customers when appropriate Build lasting customer relationships and help create repeat service business What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate understands that being a great Service Advisor is about more than writing repair orders. It requires communication, organization, follow-through, automotive knowledge, and the ability to earn a customer's trust. Qualifications include: Previous automotive service department experience Service Advisor, Service Consultant, or Assistant Service Manager experience preferred Dealership experience is a plus Working knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair Strong customer-service and communication skills Ability to manage multiple customers and repair orders in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and follow-through skills Comfortable using computers and learning dealership management systems Willingness to complete manufacturer training and learn new technology Professional appearance and attitude Personal and professional integrity Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team Valid driver's license We're Looking for the Right Long-Term Fit The Battlefield Automotive Organization isn't interested in simply filling a chair.
