PURPOSE: The following outlines the essential duties, responsibilities and qualifications for the position of Quality Services Supervisor in the Chicago, IL area.
SUMMARY: The Quality Services Supervisor supervises and coordinates activities associated with on-line and off-line sorting and containment projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Set up and perform containment projects on customer property according to their specifications
• Train teams of inspectors on how to properly complete their tasks according to the work instructions
• Report containment results to plant personnel, customers, as well as our own data analyst and team
• Maintain records, including but not limited to project data, inspector time cards, training records and containment reports
• Ensure quality policies, procedures and processes are followed
• Oversee multiple projects at various locations
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines according to client specific sites
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with customer facility personnel and supplier representatives
• Adhere to client ISO standards and quality policy by performing our work accurately, on-time and efficiently
• The Quality Assurance Group Leader is required to act as a working supervisor and help out as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma/GED
• Experience with Microsoft Office and strong working knowledge of Excel
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
• Reliable transportation
• Capability to stand/walk for up to 12-14 hours a day
• Ability to lift up to 25-50lbs occasionally
• Flexible work schedule
• Must be able to work overtime as required
• Minimum of 1 year supervisory or lead experience
• Proven ability to multitask efficiently under pressure
