• Interact professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with all professional contacts with emphasis on company interests
• Efficiently create complex documents and/or reports using spreadsheet software
• Independently prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
• Analyze complex financial data to determine appropriate recommendation for action

Responsibilities:

• Analyze sales, margin, inventory, markdowns, and promotional performance across merchandise categories

• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports, forecasts, and business performance analyses for leadership teams

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and seasonal planning processes for the Merchandising department

• Develop and maintain Excel-based financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools

• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within product categories and provide actionable recommendations

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Planning, Inventory Management, and Finance teams on ad hoc analysis and strategic projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field

• 2–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, analytics, retail, or related internships/co-op programs preferred

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly

• Experience with reporting or data visualization tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Oracle is a plus.

Salary Range: $66,000.00 - $99,000.00
