Staffmark is hiring Assemblers in Milpitas, CA. In this role, you will assemble electronic components, circuit boards, subassemblies, and finished products while following work orders, assembly drawings, specifications, and quality procedures. The position offers $24.00–$26.40 per hour on Monday–Friday first- or second-shift schedules, with overtime and weekends as needed. Responsibilities Assemble electronic components, circuit boards, subassemblies, and finished products according to documented specifications. Install, connect, solder, crimp, rivet, fasten, and secure components using approved tools and methods. Set up workstations with required materials, components, and documentation. Perform inspections, go/no-go testing, quality checks, repair, rework, and touch-up activities. Identify defects and document nonconforming materials. Collect production and quality data and maintain accurate records. Communicate production, quality, and process issues to supervisors and engineering teams. Support continuous improvement, preventive maintenance, and safe manufacturing practices. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. At least one year of experience in electronic assembly, manufacturing, production, PCB assembly, or electromechanical assembly. Ability to read assembly drawings, work instructions, production documentation, and basic engineering specifications. Ability to follow standardized work instructions and quality procedures. Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements and handle small components with manual dexterity. Ability to sit for extended periods and use a microscope when required. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly; some positions may require lifting up to 50 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Technical training in Electronics, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field. Experience with soldering, wiring, component installation, inspection, testing, or basic troubleshooting. Knowledge of electronic components, printed circuit boards, and subassemblies. Experience using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, microscopes, and production equipment. Familiarity with SMT, PTH, soldering techniques, SPC data collection, and quality inspection processes. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and nonconforming materials. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with operators, engineers, supervisors, and quality teams. Company Description We dare to dream. So should you.
