Join our team and help build engineering solutions that change the industry.Job Summary:The Material Handler - Warehouse is responsible for safely loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the site.Additional Information:Starting Pay: $20.85/hr, can be adjusted with experienceSchedule: 8 to 5 Monday through Friday, every other SaturdayThis position does not offer relocationThis position does not offer sponsorshipThis position is located in Midland, TXWhat Will You Do:At SPM Oil & Gas, our primary objective is to provide our customers with excellent engineering solutions through our products and superior customer serviceUnload, stock and inventory all deliveriesAssist with new orders and cycle countsRead and understand standard work and risk assessmentsExhibits equipment and product understandingCounts, weighs, secures, tags, palettize and stacks materials and maintains accurate records of material movementAssist service operations with pulling and picking partsPerforms other job duties as assignedWhat You Will Have:Minimum of three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experiencePrior experience operating a forkliftMust be able to become forklift certified within 30 daysMust be able to effectively operate hand-held scanner (inventory transaction device) within 30 daysAbility to use identification tools (engraver, metal stamps, paint pen) to mark productAbility to read and interpret dimensional drawingsTop Candidates will have:Basic understanding of the warehouse distribution industryExperience with Site line ERP systems or warehouse management systems is preferred.Physical Demands:Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hearRequired to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlMust occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focusMust be able to wear protective footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the departmentWork Environment:Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particlesOccasionally exposed to high, precarious places and vibrationNoise Level: ModerateSummary Pay Range:$20.85 - $27.90Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
