Maintains positive relationships with Store Management. Conducts apprehensions within established policies and guidelines. Communicates with store Associates on damage and shrink initiatives. Identifies and resolves internal and external theft. \n \n Adheres to established shoplifter guidelines and policies \n Provides timely, courteous and knowledgeable service to customers \n Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality \n Observes, apprehends, and/or deters any acts of dishonesty from outside sources \n Participates in investigations and surveillance as assigned \n Ensures apprehensions are consistent with store theft activity \n Completes and distributes paperwork in an accurate and timely manner \n Maintains appropriate evidence, demonstrates understanding of law enforcement procedures and professionally participates in legal activities as needed (e.g., police calls, etc.) \n Coordinates and complete shrink related activities in partnership with Store Management \n Adheres to all labor laws, policies, and procedures \n Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs \n Encourages Associate use of shrink reduction resources \n Promotes safety awareness and supports maintenance of a safe environment \n \n Who We’re Looking For: You. \n \n Excellent communication skills and sound judgment \n Basic computer skills \n Basic time management skills \n Investigative / analytical skills \n Ability to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations \n Standout colleague, working effectively with peers and supervisors to accomplish tasks \n Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs \n 0-2 years retail or security experience \n \n \n Benefits include: Associate discount; EAP; smoking cessation; bereavement; 401(k) Associate contributions; child care & cell phone discounts; pet & legal insurance; credit union; referral bonuses.
