Floor Maintenance Technician

Full Time
Temp to Hire
Monday - Friday, 12:00pm - 8:30pm.

First 2 weeks will train on day shift 9:00am - 5:30pm.

Must be fluent in English and Spanish.

$16.50/hr.

WILL BE USING FLOOR BUFFING AND WAXING MACHINES.

The Floor cleaner will be responsible for the maintenance of all floor areas, and for sustaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. You will operate equipment to maintain the upkeep of all floors, and you will wear adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) when working with chemicals and equipment.

• Cleaning warehouse floors, break areas, restrooms & other common areas.
• Cleaning, dusting, mopping, & other maintenance needed to maintain the floors.
• Tend to cardboard recycling and trash throughout the building
• Cleaning, maintaining, and storing equipment and PPE proficiently.
• Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Other janitorial duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• MUST HAVE the ability to operate floor maintenance equipment including floor sweepers, buffers, strippers, walk behind floor scrubbers, etc.
• Janitorial experience required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
