Patient Navigator

To support patient management in a remote full-time capacity, the Patient Navigator will establish relationships with patients, verify insurance benefits for obesity treatment, and coordinate healthcare services while ensuring effective communication among providers and staff. Key responsibilities Serves as the primary point of contact for patients, helping them navigate through the healthcare system Collects and analyzes market data to strategize payor population identification and verifies insurance coverage Schedules and coordinates patient appointments, ensuring adherence and managing wait-lists Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Public Health, or a related field, or an Associate's degree with two years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with four years of relevant experience Three years of experience in the healthcare field, including one year in statistical data analysis Knowledge of insurance payor pre-certification requirements and regulations Ability to engage with family and community resources to address patients' emotional, social, and financial needs Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
