Job Description ***Only qualified "Assembler" candidates located near the "Sumter, South Carolina" area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***

Required Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience

• 0 to 1 year of manufacturing assembly experience

Previous manufacturing work experience

Tech Skills

• Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English

• Basic math calculation skills

• Ability to use basic measurement tools such as microscopes

• Ability to perform quality inspections according to quality specifications

• Ability to set up operate maintain and troubleshoot equipment

Soft Skills

• Effective communication skills with coworkers and team lead or supervisor

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Ability to get along with others

• Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities

• Ability to work flexible and extended hours

• Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks involved in the fabrication manufacture assembly testing and packaging of medical devices

• Set up operate maintain and troubleshoot equipment

• Conduct quality inspections on processing lines according to quality specifications

• Work within clearly defined standard operating procedures (SOPs) and scientific methods

• Adhere to established quality guidelines

• Follow assigned tasks and responsibilities in accordance with operational requirements

Physical Demands

• Stand walk and sit for extended periods of time

• Occasionally lift or move at least 50 pounds

• Meet the physical requirements necessary to perform essential job functions

• Complete required eye examination before starting the assignment

• Maintain 20/30 vision with or without corrective lenses and/or successfully complete a color vision examination
