Account ManagerPosition OverviewWe are seeking an Account Manager with 2+yrs working knowledge of aluminum products to drive revenue growth, retain key customers, and act as the primary commercial contact for assigned accounts. Qualifications2+ years of inside sales or account management experience in the metals industry.Demonstrable working knowledge of aluminum products, alloys, and applications; ability to discuss specifications and manufacturing tolerances with customers and internal teams.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.Comfortable collaborating across functions (engineering, production, logistics) to solve customer problems and manage complex orders.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of assigned accounts, serving as the primary point of contact and building long-term relationships to maximize account retention and growth.Collaborate with operations, engineering, and production teams to ensure accurate specification interpretation, on-time delivery, and resolution of technical or quality issues related to precision manufacturing.Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, tracking orders, coordinating logistics, and proactively communicating status and potential issues.Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales pipeline, and forecasts in the CRM system; generate regular reports for management.Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across aluminum and other metal product lines (including steel where applicable) and coordinate with internal teams to capture those opportunities.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on sales processes, quoting accuracy, and customer experience.BenefitsMedicalDental Vision Life Insurance401K matchingTuition ReimbursementPaid Time Off
