Trinity Outpatient Surgery Center, part of BayCare Health System, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our growing surgical services team. In this role, you'll be an essential member of the perioperative team, supporting surgeons, nurses, and patients through a variety of outpatient surgical procedures in a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center. Responsibilities Include Preparing surgical instruments, supplies, equipment, and operating rooms Establishing and maintaining sterile fields Anticipating the needs of the surgical team during procedures Assisting with specimen preparation and disposition Supporting inventory management of sterile supplies Maintaining knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation Assisting with patient transport, as needed Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology Program OR Completion of a military or hospital-based training program with at least five years of acute care Surgical Technologist experience Preferred Skills: Strong understanding of sterile technique, instrumentation, and operating room procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to teamwork and exceptional patient care Benefits of Joining BayCare At BayCare, we believe our team members are our greatest asset.
