Shipper II (1st Shift)

JOB TITLE Shipper Level II COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE Pay Range: $22 - $24 per hour Shift: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday‑Friday Type: On‑site OVERVIEW At Prototek, shipping is integral to production, ensuring precision‑manufactured parts arrive safely and on time to customers in aerospace, defense, robotics, medical and advanced manufacturing. We seek a dependable Shipper Level II who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and values accuracy, organization and teamwork. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Package and prepare precision parts for shipment Process UPS, FedEx, DHL, and freight shipments Verify work orders, quantities, and shipping documentation Receive incoming materials and move inventory between departments/buildings Use Mie Trak and Mie Kiosk to manage shipping workflows Support end‑of‑day shipping operations and reporting REQUIREMENTS High School diploma or GED Manufacturing or machine shop experience Experience using shipping software or ERP systems Ability to bend, kneel and crouch occasionally during shift Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 75 lb moderately during workday Forklift or material‑handling experience Strong attention to detail Enthusiasm for active, problem‑solving, changing environment BENEFITS Health, dental, vision, life and short‑term disability insurance Company‑paid life and long‑term disability insurance 9 paid holidays annually Employee Assistance Program (EAP) 401(k) with matching contribution Education reimbursement program Career advancement opportunities Flexible schedule Competitive pay scale Paid time off (starting at 80 hours, increasing annually) WORK AUTHORIZATION Must meet ITAR U.S. Person requirements.
