Maintenance Manager

Are you a hands‑on leader with expertise in steel roll forming machinery? We are seeking a dynamic Maintenance Manager who thrives at the intersection of tactical execution and strategic leadership. In this role, you won’t just manage from behind a desk—you will actively perform, train, and supervise the maintenance of our high‑powered metal forming equipment. Location: Bow, NH. Shift: 1st Shift (with flexibility for 2nd shift and weekends as required). Salary: $72,000 - $95,000 per year (depending on experience). Relocation: $15,000 lump sum package available for ideal candidates. What We Are Looking For (Qualifications) Industry Expertise: Prior experience repairing and maintaining metal forming equipment—specifically steel roll forming machinery—is absolutely essential. Leadership Experience: A proven track record in a supervisory or management role, successfully leading teams of at least two members. Experience managing multiple‑shift operations is highly preferred. Technical Skills: Hands‑on experience operating machine shop equipment such as lathes, presses, welding and grinding gear, and Bridgeport‑type machines. Control Systems: Familiarity with industry control systems (e.g., AMS, Beck, ASC, or similar manufacturers). Safety‑First Mindset: Extensive, practical knowledge of industrial safety compliance, including equipment guarding and safety switches. Flexibility: While this is primarily a 1st shift position, you must be willing to work 2nd shift and/or weekends when major operational or emergency maintenance needs arise. Responsibilities Equipment & Facility Maintenance: Perform and oversee routine mechanical repairs, installations, upgrades, and general facilities maintenance to keep the plant running smoothly. Minimize Downtime: Maintain a robust preventative maintenance program, prioritize daily maintenance issues, and optimize machinery to increase overall uptime. Inventory & Purchasing: Maintain a strict inventory of critical components and routinely negotiate/purchase maintenance supplies and disposable tooling. Contractor Management: Analyze and approve the use of outside contractors for electrical, facility, and specialized needs. Team Leadership & Safety: Train and supervise maintenance technicians, ensure strict adherence to all safety programs, and inspect/order materials needed for equipment guarding and safety switches. Industry Expertise: Prior experience repairing and maintaining metal forming equipment—specifically steel roll forming machinery—is absolutely required. Leadership Experience: Proven track record in a supervisory or management role, leading teams of at least two members. Experience managing multiple shift operations is preferred. Technical Skills: Experience operating equipment such as lathes, presses, welding, grinding, and Bridgeport‑type machines.
