Position Fulltime Clinical Informatics Manager Stamford Health is hiring a Fulltime Clinical Informatics Manager. The role supports clinical informatics initiatives, manages system implementations and upgrades, supports end‑user training, and promotes effective use of healthcare technology to enhance patient care and operational performance. The manager acts as a liaison between clinical staff, information technology teams, and leadership. Collaborate with clinical staff to understand workflow requirements and improve them using technology. Facilitate system support including troubleshooting software, equipment, and access problems. Instruct RNs and other clinical staff on software usage and teach best practices in both individual and group settings. Lead and supervise clinical informatics staff, develop departmental goals and strategic plans. Collaborate with nursing, physician, and administrative leaders and manage nursing informatics projects from planning through implementation. Participate in long‑range planning, system upgrades, testing, and workflow redesign. Oversee optimization and maintenance of the EHR system. Ensure documentation supports quality and regulatory requirements, evaluate and improve clinical workflows through technology. Monitor key performance indicators, create dashboards and reports for leadership, and collaborate with quality, finance, and operational teams to leverage data. Act as liaison to Patient Care Services staff, resolve training issues, support operations during downtime. Provide advancement of clinical applications, interfaces, and reports through effective implementation of solutions. Qualifications BSN required; MSN in Nursing Informatics preferred. 5 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting, including at least three years of informatics experience with progressive responsibility and leadership of a team implementing a major clinical information system. Connecticut RN license required. Ability to compile objective data and produce written reports. Ability to develop and communicate written policies and procedures. High competency with computers and software such as MS Office; data and statistical analysis using Microsoft Excel required. Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills. Experience with EPIC required; Rover, Epic MyChart Bedside, Get Well Network, and Kronos preferred. Nursing informatics certification preferred.
