Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2200 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Wisconsin Health.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Community hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details: Adult patient population. Fast-paced inpatient medical-surgical unit caring for general care patients with a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses. Cares for patients with COPD, heart failure, HTN, DM, ETOH, infection, mental status changes, and falls. Drips on floor include insulin, heparin, and PCA. Cases include bariatric weight loss procedures; orthopedic joint surgeries (hip, knee, shoulder); neuro spine; appendectomy; cholecystectomy; hernia; and endocrine surgeries. Uses CPM, wound VAC, lifts, and Polar Care.

Shift & Scheduling: Day/Evening, 12-hour shifts, 0700 - 1930. Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational need.

Floating Requirements: Float to other units or downtown.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
