Job Summary
The organization is seeking an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position in Wisconsin. This role involves providing care across multiple ICU specialties, including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, and more, in a Magnet-certified hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center. The RN will deliver high-acuity patient care in a dynamic, academic environment supporting shared governance and professional growth.

Job Details

• Position Description: Evening/Night, 8/12 hour shifts, 1900-0730, with every other weekend and some holidays. Experience with multiple ICU units and IMC/Progressive/General care populations required. Preference for candidates with ICU experience in Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, etc.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) required. Must pass telemetry test prior to start date.
• Required Qualifications: Wisconsin RN license or valid compact license, minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in ICU, experience with multiple ICU specialties, and ability to pass required telemetry exams.
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidates will float to Neuro ICU, CV/CT ICU, Burn, Trauma, Medical Surgical ICU, and Intermediate Care/Progressive units as needed. Must have trauma I experience and proficiency in multiple ICU procedures such as arterial line management, blood product administration, ventilator management, and arrhythmia interpretation.
