Vice President Finance - Nonprofit

Accountants One has a referred nonprofit client near 75 and Paces Ferry Road that is looking for a VP of Finance. It is a hybrid role to work Tuesday, Thursday, and 1 other day in the office. Hours are flexible. Our client will consider candidates with corporate experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
• Oversee accounting, reporting, audits, and compliance (GAAP)
• Ensure strong internal controls, risk management, and asset protection
• Manage and develop a high-performing finance team, including leadership staff
• Partner with the executive team and Board, presenting financial results and insights
• Improve processes, systems, and operational efficiency
• Oversee treasury, investments, and banking relationships

Requirements

• CPA or MBA required
• 10+ years of accounting/finance leadership experience
• Experience managing teams and leading other leaders
• Nonprofit experience is preferred, not required
• Strong financial reporting, audit, and compliance background
• Ability to communicate financial data to non-financial stakeholders
