Title: SYSTEMS ANALYST Location: Kendall Park, NJ Salary: $66,500 per year Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.) Job Requirements Masters degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science OR Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems or Computer Science and five (5) years of experience in the job duties listed above. Job Duties Engineer, configure, install, maintain, and upgrade Windows and Unix Operating systems. Install and configure Windows 2008, Windows 2003, Red Hat Linux and Solaris servers. Install, configure, upgrade and administer the VMWare Infrastructure 5.0/4.1/4.0 in the virtualized hosting environments. Recommend solutions for modifications or enhancements using current and emerging technologies to solve issues. Perform performance optimization and recommend tuning. Monitor system resources, logs, disk usage, scheduling and verify backups and restore on Veritas Net Backup. Build and administer Microsoft and Veritas clustering servers. Administer Active Directory and Group Policy Management. Provide technical support and troubleshoot developer technical issues to determine root causes. Create and maintain user accounts. Migrate physical servers to virtual servers using VMWare converters. Implement scripts and execute tasks associated with project delivery, including physical and virtual server builds. Resolve access issues for developers and business users in existing environments. Have skills in Windows Server 2008/2003, Linux Red Hat, Solaris 9/10, networking, VMWare, Infrastructure 5.0/4.1/4.0, Windows Active Directory, .NET, IIS, SQL Server, Citrix, and Shell Scripting.
