Ultrasound Technician

Location: Smyrna, TN

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: MON/TUES/WED/THUR 8:30PM-7:00AM

Job Description

The Ultrasound Technician will be responsible for performing various ultrasound procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. The ideal candidate should be a self-starting, independent professional with a focus on patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform OB/GYN studies, vascular studies, and abdominal studies.
• Conduct procedures for pediatrics, thora, and paracentesis as needed.
• Utilize GE Logiq E9 XD Clear Ultrasound machines.
• Document procedures accurately using Meditech (EMR) and FUJI Synapse (PACS).
• Provide outstanding patient/customer service.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with qualifications in ABD and OB/GYN.
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Skills in patient care and a commitment to high-level disinfection policies.
