Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team in New Britain, PA. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and diagnose equipment issues with minimal supervision. While collaboration with production and engineering teams is occasionally required, this position is best suited for someone who is comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components on production equipment.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on converting equipment, printing presses, coating machines, die cutters, slitters, and related machinery.

Diagnose equipment failures and implement timely, effective solutions to minimize downtime.

Assist Product and Process Engineers with modifications to machine components and equipment designs.

Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.

Maintain maintenance records and complete work orders accurately.

Identify opportunities for equipment improvements and increased reliability.

Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Assist with general facility upkeep and operational needs as required, including seasonal tasks

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.

Experience working with pneumatics, electrical controls, and industrial machinery.

Ability to work independently with minimal direction.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience with converting equipment, printing presses, coating machines, die-cutting equipment, or slitters.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Knowledge of cGMP and ISO 13485 standards is a plus.
