Technician - Level 2

Job Title Road Mechanic Job Summary Road Mechanic/Technician responsible for preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy construction equipment, aerial work platforms, power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment. Puts safety, reliability, and customer service at the forefront of all activities. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment and locations. Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and execute troubleshooting procedures. Ensure safety compliance and minimize equipment downtime. Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced and remote work environment. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training preferred. 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel, heavy construction, or specialty lines equipment. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; CDL license may be required for some locations. Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, troubleshooting fundamentals. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in indoor/outdoor settings. Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs. Physical Demands Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more; work indoors and outdoors as required. Pay Range $34.68 – $41.82 per hour (starting rate may vary by location, education, training, and experience).
