About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience License: Active state or compact license required at the time of submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI Must-Have: Experience with insulin, heparin, and Lasix drips Ability to float to like acuities or less if needed Proficient in Meditech charting system preferred Description: Candidates will be reviewed and interviewed by the manager. Must include requested time off in submission to be honored at the time of offer. Schedule includes four 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Weekends and holidays are included. No call required. The traveler is expected to float to like acuities or less if needed. Experience with a patient population that includes cardiac, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal, general surgery, and orthopedics is important. The team consists of RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNAs, and unit secretaries. Patient ratios are 1 to 6. A current Nursys report dated within the past 7 days must be included. Education verification is required at the time of submission for non-RN specialties. Active license and all required certifications must be in hand at the time of submission. Background checks and license verifications with open or unresolved findings will not be eligible for review or approval until all outstanding items have been resolved.
