Travel RN – Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Rotating Weekends | Projected Start: 09/29/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 40-bed BMT unit, maintaining estimated patient ratios of 1:3 (target) to 1:4 (stretch)
• Administer and monitor chemotherapy in accordance with unit protocols; ONS Chemotherapy Certification required
• Perform bedside shift reports, safety rounds, and participate in No Pass Zone and team management initiatives
• Monitor telemetry and manage simple titration of drips as needed
• Support care for patients undergoing autologous and allogeneic transplants, including CAR-T therapies
• Float to other units as needed per traveler floating policy; rotate weekends as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 1 year of Oncology experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required prior to start
• ONS Chemotherapy Certification required prior to start
• PCU level of care competency required
• Proficiency with Meditech documentation system or ability to adapt quickly

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior BMT experience strongly preferred
• Ability to read telemetry and manage simple titration of drips
• Experience with CAR-T therapy administration or monitoring
• Excellent assessment skills with demonstrated competency in oncology nursing
