Make a meaningful impact by providing dedicated support to students with diverse learning needs in a vibrant K-12 educational setting. This contract role offers the opportunity to work as a Special Education Paraprofessional, serving either in a 1:1 capacity or supporting small groups within the classroom. You’ll collaborate closely with certified staff to reinforce lessons, implement behavior supports, and help students achieve their academic and personal goals.

What you'll bring:

A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to assisting students with a range of disabilities and unique learning needs
Strong verbal and written communication skills, allowing for effective partnership with teachers, specialists, administrators, and families
Familiarity with Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) strategies and the ability to follow behavior support plans
Previous experience adapting and reinforcing instructional content under the direction of certified educators
Flexibility to respond to varying classroom environments and individualized student requirements
High standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct in all interactions
Excellent organizational and observational abilities to support accurate data collection and student progress monitoring
Confidence in following Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and guiding students in meeting social, behavioral, and academic objectives

Contract runs from August 13, 2026, to May 27, 2027
$20.00 per hour, 30 hours per week, 5 days per week
