Job Title: Maintenance Tech aka Fix-It Pro & Property Perfectionist - Approximately 28 hours a week

Job Snapshot – Key Aspects of the Role

• Complete routine maintenance and repairs across assigned properties to ensure everything is operating safely and efficiently
• Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and building-related issues
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance checklists and inspections
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and scheduled procedures
• Obtain estimates for supplies and repair parts; order materials as instructed
• Maintain cleanliness and overall condition of buildings, units, and grounds
• Communicate regularly with property teams regarding maintenance needs, budgets, and completed work
• Assist with coordinating external vendors and contractors for larger repair or capital improvement projects
• Follow all OSHA guidelines and company safety policies at all times

Property Hours (Part time schedule is about 24 hours a week)

Monday - Tuesday: 9:00AM-5:00PM

Wednesday: Closed

Thursday-Friday: 9:00AM-5:00PM

Saturday: 9:00AM-3:00PM

Sunday: Closed

Brainy Stuff: What Makes Our Hearts Flutter

• High school diploma/GED required
• Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems

*A background screening will be conducted at time of hire.

*For positions that involve driving, a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required
