About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Engineering to play a pivotal role in the technical scaling of its enterprise security and governance platform for AI-built applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the engineering team in the development of AI agent security products, with a focus on both build-time and runtime security. This hands-on leadership position requires a strong background in software engineering, experience in cloud infrastructure, security products, or enterprise SaaS, and the ability to make pragmatic engineering trade-offs. The Head of Engineering will work closely with the founders to shape product direction, and engineering priorities, and to ensure the security and scalability of the platform. Applicants for the Head of Engineering role at the company should have a proven track record of leading small teams, mentoring engineers, and making significant contributions to the technical aspects of a product. The role demands a high level of agency, ownership, and startup readiness, as well as the ability to operate with ambiguity and move quickly in a fast-paced environment. Experience in security, particularly in DevSecOps, application security, or cloud security, is a plus. The ideal candidate will be motivated to work in an early-stage company, be comfortable with AI tools in engineering workflows, and have a strong background in system design and architecture.
